Abhijeet Muzumdar is a Vice President with BVP India in Mumbai. He focuses on investments in the consumer internet, cloud computing, software, mobile and financial services. Since joining BVP India in November 2009, he has been closely involved with a number of investments. He helped the firm make investments in India’s largest matrimonial and match making site - www.BharatMatrimony.com (Consim), India’s largest e-commerce marketplace - www.Snapdeal.com, a real estate classified company – www.indiaproperty.com, a software company that delivers applications as a service – www.anuntatech.com and a housing finance company - www.homefirstindia.com. He sits on the board of Home First Finance and is an observer on the board of Bharat Matrimony, Snapdeal, IndiaProperty and Anunta Technologies. Prior to joining BVP India, Abhijeet was at Edelweiss Capital, where he worked in the investment banking team.
