Abhishek Malik is final year student of Economics doing M.Sc. Integrated at IIT Kanpur, India. He has twice been winner of National business plan competitions, technology hardware competitions in the past and has also been involved in a startup at SIDBI Incubation Centre, IIT Kanpur. Abhishek Malik is interested in innovative technologies and their applications with entrepreneurial angle. He has focused down to mobile applications and is working in this area involving location based services for some time. He co-founded ‘Jackets’, a Location based service emphasizing serendipitous discovery and giving users a chance to upload and share their location knowledge with others.
