Afinitas Limited is a pan African investment holding company that has a mandate to provide seed capital and develop new Africa focused businesses. Afinitas is listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange and is also accredited to the Botswana International Financial Services Center (IFSC). The Company has three investee businesses, namely, Africa Events Limited, Ethiopia Investments Limited and Adventis Limited. Africa Events Limited (AEL) is a specialist events management company that focuses on investment oriented events. AEL owns the rights to the Africa Financial Services Investment Conference (AFSIC). The conference is attended by a wide range of Africa focused investors, dealmakers, and regulated African financial services companies from all parts of the African continent. In March 2016, the Board of Afinitas Limited approved the establishment Ethiopia Investments Limited (EIL) with an initial investment allocation of $2.5 million.
