Mr Akash M. Ambani is the son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited and Nita Ambani, Chairperson of Reliance Foundation. Akash completed the IB Diploma Programme from Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) in 2009 and has graduated from Brown University in 2013, majoring in business and economics. After graduating from Brown, Akash is currently part of the Reliance JioInfocomm Limited (RJIL), the 4G arm of Reliance, which is today one of RIL’s most ambitious projects aimed at transforming the country’s communications landscape. Akash is on the RJIL Executive Committee, the governing and operating body of the company, and actively participates in the day-to-day operations across various segments and functional areas of the company.
