Akbar Ali Shah is the CEO of RB Pakistan Hygiene Home, a subsidiary of British based FMCG MNC RB which owns world renowned brands like Dettol, Lysol, Harpic, Mortein, Veet, Vanish, Durex, Airwick, Finish & many others. He is also on the executive boards of RB Pakistan, Saaf Sehat Mand Pakistan & on the advisory board of Iqra University in Pakistan. He is also part of Middle East North Africa & Pakistan cluster leadership team for RB. Akbar is a graduate of IBA from the batch of 2002. He started his career with Unilever before moving to RB in 2005. In his career spanning over 18 years, he was responsible for RB business in various other countries including KSA, Middle East, North Africa & Iran where he was part of the leadership team responsible to manage over $1b business. In Middle East, Akbar worked with Dr. Ishrat Hussain, former governor state bank of Pakistan & dean of IBA, to set up the IBA Middle East Alumni Chapter.
