Alan MacIntosh

About

Alan MacIntosh has extensive international experience in innovative technology businesses beginning in Europe in oil exploration with Schlumberger, data networking with Hewlett Packard and entering mobile in 1990 with Canada’s Telesystem group. At TIW, he established mobile operations in eight countries and in 1997 co-founded GSM Capital, the first global wireless venture fund with offices in Boston, London and Hong Kong. In 2004, Alan co-founded Acta Wireless and, in 2008, Real Ventures which is Canada's most active venture fund with more than 100 investments in mobile and web tech start-ups.
