AKSBI, LLC was founded by Nickie Knight and Ken Sprague in Homer, AK. They have the experience of starting and maintaining businesses from the ground up in a rural, seasonal community. The business incubator was formed to help spur economic development through promoting manufacturing and local commerce for aspiring entrepreneurs. Commerce and economic development is happening naturally and we’re reaching out to the talent that surrounds us. We are currently undergoing the process of developing our program with mentors and partners. We look to have a full program available by 2016. We currently have a shared marketplace, access to office space and workshop for those participating in the Alaska Marketplace.
