Alden Reid is an Associate at GrandBanks Capital, performing due diligence on new investment opportunities and working closely in support of the existing GrandBanks Capital portfolio companies. Prior to joining GrandBanks Capital, Alden was an Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies & Company in their Waltham, MA office. Alden worked in the Technology, Media, and Telecom group, focusing on sell-side mergers and acquisitions. His transaction experience includes: the $217 million sale of iBasis Technologies (NASDAQ: IBAS) to Royal KPN (AMS: KPN), the $142 million divestiture of Porex Corporation from HLTH Corporation (NASDAQ: HLTH) to Aurora Capital, the £85 million sale of Research Now (LON: RNOW) to e-Rewards, and the $25 million private placement in ACTIV Financial Systems by Bessemer Venture Partners. Alden graduated from Boston College's Carroll School of Management in 2008. He earned a Bachelors of Science in management with a concentration in finance and a major in mathematics.
