Alex Brown is a Keyframe Partner specializing in investments in energy, the built environment, and decarbonization. Alex, like the firm's other Partners, contributes to the entire investment lifecycle, from macro/industry research to sourcing to investment due diligence and execution. Alex began his career at Cyrus Capital (a Keyframe affiliate), where he spent over three years analyzing and executing public market investments, primarily in energy and heavy industry. Alex went on to work as the Director of Business Strategy and Operations at Celmatix, a Series A biotech startup in New York focused on women's health. Following Celmatix, Alex relocated to California for business school, where he worked in Market Operations at Leap, an early-stage energy company.
