Alexander Oppenheim

Mr. Oppenheim is the Managing Partner of Vital Capital Fund and a Member of its Investment Committee. He is a leading proponent of Impact model investment in developing economies. Having initiated and implemented a wide range of infrastructure, aviation and agriculture projects throughout Africa, Mr. Oppenheim built a deep understanding of the sub-Saharan Africa culture and extensive relationship networks. Mr. Oppenheim has been a driving force behind the Vital Capital Fund’s Aldeia Nova initiative, an innovative, fully-integrated agricultural and rural development project in Angola, and served as its Director General. Before joining Vital Capital, Mr. Oppenheim served as Executive VP of the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations.
