Amit Behl joined Intel Capital in 2006 and focuses on opportunities in Consumer Internet, Cloud Computing and Big Data. He has led Intel Capital’s investments in FINO (rural banking & financial products), ITZ Cash (prepaid cards), Vriti Infocom (education), Yatra (online travel), Policybazaar (online insurance) and KLG Systel (energy efficiency/smart grids). Prior to Intel Capital, Amit worked as Head, Business Planning - Mobile Data & VAS at Reliance Communications. Before Reliance, Amit worked as Manager - Private Equity Investments at ICICI Venture where he made investments in the Internet, IT, Media and Retail sectors. At ICICI Venture, Amit invested in InfoEdge (NSE:NAUKRI), Trinethra Super Markets (acquired by Aditya Birla Retail), Deccan Yellow Pages and Baazee.com (acquired by eBay).
