Mr Borg joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts in 2013 to lead the firms activities in the Nordic region working with private equity origination, deal execution and value creation in portfolio companies. Over the last ten years he has been involved in transactions totaling a combined Enterprise Value of more than $13bn. Recent board directorships include the Boards of Ambea AB (publ.), Mehilainen Oy, Visma AS, and as Chairman of the Välinge Group AB. Examples of larger transactions over the last couple of years include: Soderberg & Partners, Sandvik Hyperion, Bluegarden, Valinge Group, Mediverkko, GoExcellent, Hurtigruten, Hilding Anders, Economics, Mainio Vire, Solhaga Gruppen, Aleris Omsorg, IPO of Ambea AB on Nasdaq Stockholm, Mehilainen, Azets, and Visma AS. The latter (Visma AS) was the largest European software buyout in history and "Mergermarket deal of the year" in 2017.
