Andrew Sandars

Andrew joined LDC in August 2007 as Head of Legal & Risk Management to establish LDC’s internal legal function and manage risk and compliance issues. He took up his current role in January 2010 as Operations Director which covers general counsel matters and has responsibility for the Legal & Risk, HR and ITC functions. Prior to LDC Andrew spent 7 years at Doughty Hanson, a leading Pan-European buyout firm as in-house legal counsel. Andrew qualified as a lawyer with Wedlake Bell in 1996 and then worked for TraversSmith in their PE transactions team until 1999. Andrew is a graduate of Reading University and the College of Law.
