Angel is a Partner at TPG Growth, leading investment efforts in Latin America since 2016, when he joined the firm as Senior Advisor. Angel led TPG Growth’s investment in Resultados Digitais, main SaaS marketing automation platform based in Brazil and The Rise Fund’s investment in Digital House, largest digital skills academy in the region. In both cases Angel serves as board member. Before joining TPG Growth, Angel spent 15 years doing private equity in Latam, mainly as a partner at Southern Cross Group (www.southerncrossgroup.com), one the largest and longest-standing PE firms in the region with more than $2BN in assets under management. During his tenure at Southern Cross, Angel founded its Brazilian operation in 2007 and remained doing businesses based in Sao Paulo since then, where they invested ~US $0,8BN from inception.
