Animal Funds provides existing mutual fund investors and those on the fringe of investing in mutual funds, a fund family based on animal characteristics to help explain the risk and objective of each of the funds, which it believe will allow average investors to shorten and improve the learning curve and provide more confidence in investing. The company was formed to provide a quality, easy to understand mutual fund family for the average retail investor in the United States. It utilizes a complementing mix of indexes to form model portfolios aimed at reducing risk and improving consistent returns over the long term. These model portfolios are named after different animals to help the average investor easily understand the risk tolerance and objectives of the model portfolios that are based on the characteristics of the animals. Animal Funds was established in 2015 and is headquartered in Saint George, Utah.
