Annette Campbell-White founded MedVenture Associates (MVA) in 1986. Ms. Campbell-White is an acknowledged leader in health care and medical technology since 1981 when she was named General Partner at Hambrecht & Quist. A native of New Zealand, her career began in strategic planning and ownership of a successful biomedical consulting firm. MedVenture Associates is currently investing in its sixth fund. More than 24 of Ms Campbell-White's selected investments have resulted in successful IPOs or acquisitions at a value greater than $100 million. Prior to her involvement with MVA, noteworthy investments included Home Health Care of America (later Caremark); Diasonics, Inc.; Xoma Corp., LifeScan, Inc., VidaMed and Novacept.
