Antonio Key is Co-Founder and General Partner of Sunset Ventures, an early-stage venture fund based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He is a current member of the Kauffman Fellows Program (Class 28). Prior to founding Sunset, Antonio was the Director of Investments at Samsung Next, Samsung’s early-stage venture fund focused on software and services. In an earlier role at Samsung Next, he led corporate development for the team that drove Partnerships and M&A specific to Ad tech, IoT, Digital Health and the Fintech. Before Samsung, Antonio was an M&A investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in NYC and completed 10 transactions totaling $26bn in enterprise value. Earlier in Antonio’s career, he was the co-founder of the startup K.O.T. Marketing Group—a leading LA event marketing company for millennial tastemakers—and built it into a multi-million dollar business.
