About
Antonio is a Computer Science Engineer with two-decades of experience in design, administration and management of enterprise systems and databases. Since 2014, he has worked as an Applied Scientist at the Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR), an institute of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). As member of the Translational Bioinformatics Laboratory, his research has been aimed to create and make available new clinical knowledge, starting from omics and biomedical data. This is achieved using Information Engineering tools and methods such as artificial intelligence, knowledge organization and management, and machine learning. Nowadays, Antonio is member of the Human Robot Interaction group where he still designs and implements knowledge databases and studies paradigms and methods for human-machine interaction using natural language.
