Arthur Yama is an American citizen and has co-responsibility for the Group's overall investment management services and strategies. He has direct responsibility for the Group's real estate investments and advisory services and serves on the Investment Committees for the firm's hedge fund platform, private equity and real estate investment. Mr Yama has over 10 years experience in the Asian region and 20 years of professional experience in investment management. Immediately prior to Aquitaine, Mr Yama was Director at the Hong Kong headquarters of Managing Partners Limited, an Asian regional workout and financial restructuring consultancy, where he headed the Real Estate Workout Group. Previously in Hong Kong, he was employed by Nikko Securities as Senior Regional Analyst. While in the US, he was Executive Vice President of Batterymarch Advisors and President of Liberty Companies, both positions involving asset and portfolio management.
