Ash has been an entrepreneur, executive and investor in a dozen technology companies over 36 years. His expertise is in infrastructure development, strategic planning, and working across many disciplines to bring new technologies to semiconductor and related industries. Most recently, Ash was CEO of Applied MicroStructures, a Horizon Ventures nanotech portfolio company. Ash also founded Kosha Group, Inc. (koshagroup.com) a global business strategy and investment advisory firm supporting the high tech industry. Ash co-founded and was CEO of Bay Microsystems, a network processor company. Here he built the infrastructure from inception and delivered a working product while raising two rounds of venture capital. Prior to Bay, he was President of Rise Technology, a microprocessor company, raising the initial venture round and putting together the management team for the company.
