Avi Brenmiller

Avi Brenmiller is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brenmiller Energy. Avi Brenmiller attended The Ohio State University. Prior to founding Brenmiller Energy, Mr. Brenmiller acted as the CEO of Siemens STE (Solar Thermal Energy) Business Unit. Earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University. From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Brenmiller directed key projects in engineering and operational departments at Luz Industries. And from 1991-1994, managed the mechanical plant for Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd. Mr. Brenmiller joined Solel Solar Systems in 1994 as Chief Operational Officer, becoming CEO in 1997. Mr. Brenmiller led Solel through extensive development and implementations of solar thermal technologies for solar power plants as well as for industrial and residential applications, including the construction of the 200 MW solar thermal power in Spain. After Solel’s acquisition by Siemens in 2009, Mr. Brenmiller was appointed CEO of Siemen’s Solar Thermal Energy bus
