Axel Harries

About

Axel Harries has been working in engineering and management roles at Daimler AG for more than 20 years. Currently, he leads the Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services and Electric Drive (CASE) unit, which is responsible for all-electric vehicle architecture (EVA). Previously, Axel led the restructured Quality Management unit for Mercedes-Benz cars, which involved bringing all relevant quality functions together and assigning them to the restructured unit. He has also held roles in the Commercial Vehicles, Corporate e-Business and Off-Road Vehicles divisions of Daimler AG. Axel studied product engineering with finance and management accounting at Furtwangen University, Germany.
