B.V. Krishnan (Mumbai) joined KKR in 2009 and is responsible for KKR's capital markets efforts in the India region. Mr. Krishnan is also driving the development of a broad-based alternative assets platform for KKR in India, including building a capital markets-driven structured credit business, and developing relationships with local investment partners. Previously, Mr. Krishnan was at Citigroup, where he worked as director, head of structured products for fixed income, currencies & commodities and equity capital markets, prior to which he worked as a senior banker in the corporate and investment bank at Citigroup. He has a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Chennai.
