Badr is coder, entrepreneur and international speaker with more than 10 years of experience in design, architecture, and in building efficient IT solutions for big international IT companies. He is engineer by training and Java expert recognized internationally (contributor to several Open Source Java projects and member of COMEX by Java in 2014). Badr is a true open source believer and has contributed to many open source projects (Arquillian, Agorava …). His goal is to take African developers to the level of contribution, helping them to become passionate contributors and technology makers instead of just technology users. He has helped building many IT communities in North Africa and has co created the JMaghreb conference in 2012 that quickly turned out to be the biggest developer conference in Africa.
