Bala joined Kalaari as a Partner in 2015. His 21 years of work experience is spread across two successful start-ups and also as senior equity analyst covering the software technology sector. Prior to Kalaari, Bala spent six years at Amba Research, a financial research and analytics company headquartered in Bangalore. Bala ran global sales, product management, and marketing at Copal Amba and was a key member of the management team that helped scale the company leading to its acquisition by Moody's Corp (NYSE; MCO). Prior to Amba, Bala ran product marketing and business development and was a member of the executive team at Vistaar Technologies, a NJ based pricing and analytics software company. As one of the first employees, Bala helped shape solution requirements, go-to-market approach and sales to clients such as GE, Dell, Hitachi, Ford among others.
