Baskar Subramanian is an avid technologist, thinker and entrepreneur. With nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Baskar’s expertise lies in combining business strategy with technology to build enterprises that innovate, disrupt and change the way businesses are run. At Amagi, Baskar drives business and technology strategy, investments, and research. He is the co-architect of Amagi’s patented content watermarking technology which has now become the fulcrum of Amagi’s targeted content and advertising platforms. Baskar started his career in Texas Instruments, and soon co-founded Impulsesoft in 1998 which grew to be a worldwide leader in wireless audio. He was its Chief Technology Officer until Impulsesoft was acquired by SiRF, a NASDAQ-listed semi-conductor major in 2005. Baskar is active on the speaking circuit, delivering lectures on innovative TV broadcast solutions. He has a degree in computer science engineering, and dropped out of the master’s program at IIT,
