Ben Heap is a Founding Partner of H2 Ventures. Ben is also a member of the Commonwealth Government of Australia's Fintech Advisory Group, appointed by the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Australia. Ben has over 23 years of financial services and investment experience in Australia and the United States. Ben's prior roles include Managing Director & CEO of Australasian Wealth Investments Limited, and Managing Director of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia. As Head of the UBS Global Asset Management division in Australia & New Zealand, Ben had ultimate responsibility for the acquisition of ING Investment Management and repositioned UBS Global Asset Management to capitalise on the evolving capital and investment environment. During his tenure, UBS Global Asset Management managed approximately A$37 billion in assets under management (as at September 2013) across equities, fixed income, property, infrastructure, alternatives and multi-asset classes.
