I received the PhD in Electronic Engineering from the Second University of Naples (Italy) in 2013. Electrical energy management topic is my research focus. Basically, the core idea is the implementation of smart algorithms and controls for electrical power allocation onboard aircraft. Collaboration with top EU universities (e.g. University of Nottingham, University of Seville) and companies (e.g. Airbus, ATR, Leonardo) gave me the opportunity to increase my skills and, already during my studies in 2011, to found Aeromechs which is the company I am still serving now as CEO. We have been involved in three EU-funded Clean Sky 1 projects between 2012 and 2016, and currently we're working on other six EU Clean Sky 2 initiatives, one National and one Horizon 2020 funded research project, all of them related to the energy management topic.
