Bhupen Shah holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He brings with him a great deal of expertise and experience. Bhupen Shah has over twenty-five years of experience in technology development, product development and engineering management in embedded digital media and communication solutions at Sling Media, Emuzed, Dazzle, RealChip, Philips Semiconductors, IBM and other such heavyweights. Bhupen successfully built cost-effective India-based development organizations. He co-founded Sling Media, and as COO & VP Engineering, was instrumental in bringing award winning Slingbox products into the retail market. Sling Media was acquired by Echostar in 2007 and Bhupen currently plays the role of CTO at the same.
