Bill joined Ethos in 1999 with responsibility for senior and mezzanine debt relationships. Bill has a proven track record of arranging and structuring significant debt financing for private equity transactions, and has an intimate knowledge of international and local debt pricing, investment structures and BEE funding models. His expertise in this area is widely recognised in the Southern African marketplace. Bill’s contribution to the firm’s investment performance includes several successful High Yield transactions, including Brandcorp, House of Busby, and Idwala. Prior to joining Ethos, Bill was a Vice President of Corporate Banking with Citibank South Africa and headed the Corporate Banking and Structured Project Finance business for FirstCorp Merchant Bank. Subsequently, he served as a divisional general manager of First National Bank. Bill is a keen golf player.
