Bob Lonergan joined Assurant in 2012 and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of Assurant, Inc. and a member of the Company’s Management Committee. Prior to his appointment as chief strategy officer, Bob served as SVP of Growth and Innovation and founded the Growth Investing team. Prior to that role, Bob was a VP and established the M&A sourcing team. Before joining Assurant, Bob worked at Bain & Company, Inc. where he helped start and grow the company’s private equity practice in Atlanta. Bob began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston working as an M&A analyst. Bob holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Davidson College.
