Bob Parsons is the founder and chairman of [GoDaddy](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/godaddy), a provider of domain names, web hosting, and new SSL certificates. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Go AZ Motorcycles and Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale. Parsons joined the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and received the Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and a Purple Heart Medal. Upon his return, he enrolled in the [University of Baltimore](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/university-of-baltimore) where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant.
