Brian Baumgart is the President of SmartMedia Technologies. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of Gradient X - a leading DSP for programmatic marketing with industry-leading machine learning for predictive buying and performance optimization. We built an incredibly scalable real-time bidding platform, eclipsing over 190 billion ads per month within the first year. The company was acquired by Singtel (Singapore Telecom) in 2013. For the seven years prior to founding Gradient X, I was an angel investor and executive at Adconion. During this time, we scaled rapidly raising over $100m in financing and expanded to 26 offices across 18 countries and over 700 employees. I most recently served as President and Chief Strategy Officer of Adconion Direct - the company was acquired by SingTel in 2014 for over $235 million.
