Mr. Yates has played key roles in corporate collaborations, private and public equity financings, debt financings, divesture, and restructuring. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Captus Networks Corp. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at 5by5 Networks, Incorporated, where he closed several financial rounds including a $5.6 million series A financing and $8 million series B financing. Prior to 5by5 Networks, he was the Director of Finance at Eloquent, Inc. and was a member of the management team that raised $20 million in mezzanine round, followed by $80 million in company’s IPO in February 2000. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller at IQ Engines, Inc.
