Carl Palmstierna

Executive chairman and General Manager of Valbay Swedish branch office. Previously Partner and CEO of ABG Sundal Collier (2002-2008) as head of the Swedish operation and co-head of the Corporate Finance Division. He was also a member of the Board of ABGSC. Before joining ABGSC, Palmstierna worked in the investment banking industry (1977- 1998) in London and New York. Most of the time (1986-1998) was spent at Goldman Sachs where he was selected Partner in 1992. In 1998 he moved back to Sweden and spent four years in private equity before joining ABGSC. Palmstierna holds a MSc from Stockholm School of Economics.
