Carl joined Crosslink in 2007 and focuses on investment opportunities in cloud computing, software-as-a-service, enterprise IT, Big data, and internet services. At Crosslink, Carl has been involved with the recent investments in Coupa Software, Coraid, DataStax, Xsigo Systems (ORCL), Marin Software (NYSE: MRIN), SET Media, SilkRoad, Carbonite (Nasdaq: CARB), as well as portfolio companies such as OpSource (NTT), SeaMicro (AMD), and DevonWay. Prior to joining Crosslink, Carl worked as a management consultant for Marakon Associates, advising top management on strategic issues in a variety of industries. Prior to that, he worked in engineering for Opsware and Loudcloud.
