Carl-Viggo Östlund is currently working as an independent consultant. Until 2014, he was CEO of the state-owned mortgage institution SBAB. Prior to that, he worked as CEO of Nordnet Bank AB until 2012. Nordnet is an online bank that offers savings in the form of shares, funds and pensions, and has about 500,000 active accounts in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Nordnet AB (publ) is listed in the Mid Cap segment on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm. Prior to coming to Nordnet, Carl-Viggo was, for six years, the CEO of SalusAnsvar - a listed company in insurance and finance. Previous experience includes CEO positions in the logistics industry (TNT Sweden and Scandinavia, 1996–2001) and the manufacturing industry (Tetra Pak in Saudi Arabia, Canada, Brazil and Turkey). Carl-Viggo holds a bachelor's degree from Stockholm School of Economics.
