Born in Santos in 1970, Graduated in Economics with a post graduation in Work Economics and a MBA at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Carlos has started his professional career on a trainee program of Bank of Boston in São Paulo city, migrating to the financial department and then to the coffee division of Cargill Inc. In June of 2000 he decided to accept the challenge to be the head trader of Brazil coffee operation of the Ecom Group. Nowadays Santana, as he is known in the coffee market, is the Commercial Director of its subsidiary company EISA – Empresa Interagricola S/A. He is also member of the Consultive Chamber at The B3 - Brasil Bolsa Balcão S.A., formerly BM&FBOVESPA . Sports is one of my passions, currently I'm quite focus on finish all world-marathon-majors, already finish New York, Berlin, training to make London and Chicago this year and planning to make Boston and Tokyo during 2022.
