About

Catherine Chang has worked in a legal due diligence capacity for private equity and real estate funds in Tokyo and mainland China, most recently at a Hong Kong-based private equity firm, where she aided in completion of two M&A deals in e-Commerce and retail sectors involving Hong Kong acquisition of mainland assets. Catherine is a born and bred California native. Growing up in the San Francisco bay area in the heart of Silicon Valley, Catherine has always been greatly influenced by the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of the community there and believes wholeheartedly in the ability of young people to inspire and innovate. Before moving to Asia, she worked at a fashion-related startup in New York City, where she launched and grew the e-Commerce arm of its business. In her role as investment manager at CyberAgent Ventures' Taipei office, she is excited to take part in this burgeoning entrepreneurial energy in Asia, and seek out and facilitate growth at promising internet startups in
