Changyou.com is a developer and operator of online games in China. It began operations in 2003 as Sohu.com's massively multiplayer online games (MMORPG) business unit. The company has an in-house technology platform that includes a 2.5D and 3D graphics engine, a uniform game development platform, anti-cheating and anti-hacking technologies, proprietary cross-networking technology, and advanced data protection technology. The company has a diverse portfolio of online games, including Tian Long Ba Bu (TLBB), DDTank, Wartune (Shen Qu), Xuan Yuan Sword game series, and Lu Ding Ji. In December 2007, ChangYou was carved out as stand-alone company and completed its initial public offering on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on April 2, 2009.
