Charles McColgan – security sophist, tech wonk, cerevisaphile – spearheads the technical development, operations, and long-term vision of TeleSign. He brings 20 years of industry experience, including 10 years creating and operating SaaS operations used by thousands of enterprises in the security and messaging space. As CTO of TeleSign, McColgan leads the Engineering team, comprising IT operations and software development. Through both hiring and acquisition, he has grown Engineering to over 100 people, in the US and Serbia, who develop and operate all of TeleSign services. McColgan expanded TeleSign’s product line to support consumers directly, via its mobile app, and also to increase the functionality of its APIs around user verification, authentication, and fraud detection. McColgan also guided the deployment of worldwide geo-redundant datacenter infrastructure, providing 99.99% availability to its customers.
