Christian Patze, PhD, joined the Performance Materials team in October 2016. He is member of the Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany Inhouse Consulting “Global Graduate Program” where he conducted various projects with focus on strategy development and project management for the business sectors Life Science and Performance Materials. Christian studied chemistry in Heidelberg (Germany) and Sheffield (UK) and obtained a PhD working with BASF SE on new host materials for blue phosphorescent OLEDs as well as soluble TADF emitters. Afterwards he received an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs, Paris (France) during which he was working in strategic marketing of Air Liquide Deutschland GmbH developing a new sales channel for packaged gases. Christian is based in Boston.
