Chuan brings more than thirteen years of experience as a venture capitalist and international business executive to the firm. At Highland, Chuan is focusing on investments in consumer oriented technology sectors (new media, Internet, finance and telecom services) with a particular emphasis on emerging growth opportunities in China and Asia more broadly. Chuan serves on the board of NetentSec, and has co-led Highland's investments in Qihoo and UUSee. Background Prior to joining Highland, Chuan was a Partner at JAFCO America Ventures, responsible for JAFCO’s venture investment operations on the east coast of the US.
