Coach David Parker

Coach David Parker is the National Men's Javelin Coach for the Chinese Athletics Association and the Head Performance Javelin Coach for the Shanghai Track & Field Team. David also co-owns The Javelin Throw and Sightline Performance. David Parker formerly worked for British Athletics as the National Performance Institute Throws Coach and the Lead Throws Coach at Loughborough University. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at this institution and is highly regarded there. David was the National Coach Mentor for javelin throw and combination events during his time with England Athletics. David worked with a diverse range of Olympic and Paralympic sports as a senior strength and conditioning coach at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Yorkshire. During this time, David Parker coached the national volleyball and handball teams of the United Kingdom in addition to working with the British diving and England rugby leagues.
