Dan is considered a pioneer in the health care finance field as co-founder of Cain Brothers in 1982 and CB Health Ventures in 1997. Cain Brothers was among the first “boutique” investment banks focused exclusively on health care payors, physicians and providers. CB Health Ventures, and now Health Enterprise Partners, focus on raising investment capital from health industry participants for deployment in “next generation” health care information technology and services.
