About
Dan has been active in finance, markets and strategy, at large global institutions as well as smaller boutique firms, for over twenty years. He has covered the media and technology segments, through all of their transformations and transitions, since the mid-‘90s, and has been involved in private and public, equity and debt, early- and late-stage, investment and acquisition transactions, as principal and advisor. Approximately half of Dan’s finance career was with BMO Capital Markets, where, as managing director, he started and helped to build out the institution’s U.S. media investment banking practice. Since leaving BMO Capital Markets in 2002, Dan has been a managing director with two New York based boutique firms founded and run by veterans of established organizations such as Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Bank of America and Citigroup.
