Darin Schmalz

About

Darin has 16 years of experience in structured credit, leveraged lending and investment analysis. At Maranon, he is responsible for key elements of investment underwriting and portfolio management with an emphasis on the firm’s senior credit products. Prior to joining Maranon in 2014, Darin was with Fitch Ratings, CapitalSource, Antares Capital Corporation (now GE Antares), JP Morgan Securities, BNP Paribas and Van Kampen Investments. Darin earned an M.B.A. from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, DePaul University and a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
