Dave Dickerson founded Accurate Background in 1997. Using his industry knowledge and a unique perspective, Dickerson built a technology platform that had both the employer and candidate in mind. Dickerson’s innovations and leadership have been rewarded through the recognition of Accurate Background for the following awards: Six-time recipient of Inc. 5000’s List of Fastest Growing Privately-Owned Companies in North America, five-time recipient of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, and six-time recipient of the WorkForce Hotlist. His contributions to the industry and the local community were highlighted in 2017 when he received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Orange County for Software Services. In addition to Accurate Background, Dickerson founded a successful internet retail company which has been twice ranked on the Inc. 5000 list.
