As the chairman and CEO of Selby Lane LLC, David C. Burke draws on more than two decades of investment management experience with an emphasis on private equity and venture capital. At Selby Lane, he provides capital and expertise to asset management and investment firms, with a focus on helping them execute strategic growth initiatives as well as ownership and management transitions. Over the course of his career, David C. Burke has directed investments for a range of companies and foundations and has served on the boards of more than two dozen private equity and venture capital investments. Before joining Selby Lane, David C. Burke served as the CEO at Makena Capital Management, LLC, for six years. In addition, he served as the managing director and as a member of the board of directors.
