David C. Dvorak

David C. Dvorak, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since May 1, 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Dvorak served as Group President, Global Businesses and Chief Legal Officer from December 2005. From October 2003 to December 2005, Mr. Dvorak served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Services, Chief Counsel and Secretary, as well as Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Dvorak was appointed Corporate Secretary in February 2003. He joined Zimmer in December 2001 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel. Mr. Dvorak earned a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from Miami University (Ohio) and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is a director of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (“AdvaMed”), the medical device industry’s trade association. Mr. Dvorak was elected in March 2012 to serve a two-year term as chairman of the board of AdvaMed.
